Nesiller — It sounds as if you are a writer by your very nature, not any conscious choice you have made, and so I applaud your honoring that nature and that need, whether others understand it or not. Likewise, that is the beauty of Medium and other such platforms: a place where you can air and share your thoughts and feelings. And, like you, I get thoughts that assert themselves into my consciousness, telling me to take note. And … that is exactly what I do, in order to retain those seed thoughts for later development. I take notes. I have a lined pad in which I simply write down the phrase, description or other form of thought that occurs to me and mentally pulls at my shirtsleeve for attention. Later, always at the right time, I can go back over those notations, and they not only spark the memory of what I might well have otherwise forgotten, but I also find that in the meantime, like an incubating egg, that noted thought has developed further and is ready for me to write down in full expression. Just sharing a suggestion that works for me, because of that “memory” challenge (-: And by the way, thank you for your claps on my recent piece, Aurora Borealis…
