Life seems

A perpetual spiral,

Built upon

A subtle sense of loss

And a hidden source of gain.

And yet I know

That Meaning

Is beyond that loss,

And emerges

As full truth

Upon discovery of the gain.

And if I can,

And I will,

My ultimate truth

Is my self.

For I

Am the summit.
